Announcement : Call for Input (2026) Liberia IGF

The Liberia Internet Governance Forum (Liberia IGF) secretariat invites open, inclusive, and non-commercial input from all stakeholders to contribute to the Liberia IGF 2026 programme agenda.

This Call for Input is issued after the review of the Liberia IGF 2025 Final Report, consultations with national stakeholders, and deliberations by the 2026 Multistakeholder Advisory Group (MAG). It marks a key milestone in the transparent and community-driven development of the 2026 agenda.

The objective is to ensure that Liberia IGF 2026 reflects:

  • Liberia’s current digital progress and unresolved challenges
  • National priorities such as digital public infrastructure (.lr), cybersecurity, inclusion, and trust
  • Issues of relevance to regional and global Internet governance discussions

The Call for Input process is conducted in line with the UN IGF principles of openness, transparency, multistakeholder participation, and bottom-up agenda development.

Submission Guidelines & Template

All submissions must be policy-oriented, non-commercial, and multistakeholder in nature. Contributions may propose themes, policy questions, sessions, workshops, or innovative formats.

Who can submit

Submissions are open to:

  • Government and public institutions
  • Regulators and the technical community
  • Private sector and startups
  • Civil society organizations
  • Academia and research institutions
  • Youth groups, women-led initiatives, and community networks
  • Independent experts and practitioners

What to submit

Submissions must follow the template below:

  1. Proposed topic or session title
  2. Brief description (maximum 150 words)
  3. Key policy questions or objectives (2–3 points)
  4. Relevant stakeholder groups (who should be involved)
  5. Suggested session format (panel, workshop, roundtable, technical lab, etc.)
  6. Expected outcomes (policy recommendations, capacity building, report, action plan, etc.)
  7. Name and organization of submitter (individual submissions allowed)

Submissions that do not follow this structure or that promote commercial interests will not be considered.

Agenda Selection Process

  • All valid submissions will be reviewed by the Liberia IGF MAG 2026, representing all stakeholder groups
  • Selection will be guided by relevance, balance, diversity, feasibility, and alignment with IGF principles
  • The final agenda will aim for gender, youth, geographic, and stakeholder balance
  • Decisions will reflect community priorities, informed by expert review
