GOVERNANCE FORUM

The Liberian Internet Governance Forum (Liberia IGF) is Liberia’s leading multi-stakeholder forum for digital policy dialogue. The IGF conferences proved their utility as global discussion platforms in terms of bringing all stakeholders around the same issue in a bottom up and open process. It is equally important to debate Internet issues at the national level with the participation of government, private sector, civil society, academia and technical community.
The Liberia Internet Governance Forum (IGF) operates in a multi-stakeholder forum on digital and internet policy issues. This annual event takes place each year in Monrovia and bring together over 500 representatives from government, civil society, and the private sector to tackle pressing public policy issues facing the internet. The Liberia IGF is the premier digital and internet policy forum - national initiative of the global United-Nations convened Internet Governance Forum, which holds annual meetings at different locations around the world. The Liberia IGF will produce a report detailing the unique, national priorities facing Liberian stakeholders in attendance. This report will then be fed into the global IGF.
