Organizing Committees
— Liberia IGF 2026
The delivery of Liberia Internet Governance Forum 2026 is supported by a set of specialized Organizing Committees, each responsible for a defined aspect of planning, implementation, and accountability. These committees work in coordination with the Secretariat and the Multistakeholder Advisory Group (MAG) to ensure the Forum meets UN IGF principles and international best practice.
National Organizing Committee (NOC)
Role & Responsibilities
The National Organizing Committee provides overall strategic and institutional oversight for Liberia IGF 2026. It ensures alignment with national priorities, partnerships, and the long-term vision of the Forum.
Key responsibilities include:
- Strategic guidance and institutional coordination
- Engagement with government, regulators, and national partners
- Oversight of compliance with UN IGF NRI principles
- High-level problem-solving and risk management
- Support for resource mobilization and partnerships

Role & Responsibilities
The Monitoring & Evaluation Committee ensures accountability, learning, and compliance with reporting requirements, including those of the UN IGF Secretariat and the Internet Society Foundation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Defining indicators and success metrics
- Collecting participation data (stakeholder group, gender, youth)
- Documenting outputs, outcomes, and lessons learned
- Preparing narrative and financial reports
- Supporting timely submission of reports to funders and partners
- Publishing the Liberia IGF 2026 Final Report
