Liberia on the Spotlight: Powerful Exhibition Booth at UN IGF 2025 in Oslo, Norway
Liberia IGF is proud to announce its participation with a dynamic Exhibition Booth at the highly anticipated IGF Village, part of the 2025 United Nations Internet Governance Forum in Lillestrøm, Norway, taking place from 23–27 June 2025 . This platform offers Liberia a strategic stage to present its digital achievements, engage with global stakeholders, and forge new collaborations.
Liberia’s presence within the IGF Village—a hub of free, non-commercial booths—offers an invaluable opportunity to gain global visibility and networking, showcasing the country’s national innovations, policy frameworks, and digital transformation strategies to over 4,000 in-person and virtual participants. Through interactive demonstrations, publications, and live discussions, the booth facilitates direct engagement with governments, industry leaders, and civil society, fostering potential support for next-generation infrastructure, data protection, and digital rights initiatives. Additionally, the booth will spotlight Liberia’s most promising digital solutions—from youth-driven apps to community-based connectivity tools—positioning local innovators for international recognition and investment.
“Having a dedicated Liberia booth at IGF 2025 is a powerful testament to our growth. It’s where national success meets global collaboration. We will not only display our digital journey since 2020, but also engage with thought leaders and investors, ensuring Liberia’s voice shapes regional and global Internet governance.”— Peterking Quaye, Liberia IGF National Coordinator
Liberia’s participation at the IGF 2025 will feature hybrid engagement, allowing attendees to visit the country’s booth physically at NOVA Spektrum or connect virtually through the IGF’s online portal to access resources, interact with delegates, and schedule meetings. Throughout the five-day event, the booth will host interactive sessions, including live demonstrations of Liberia’s digital literacy initiatives, rural connectivity projects, and policy briefings that highlight the nation’s progress and priorities in digital transformation.
Liberia’s active participation in platforms like the UN IGF and regional forums has led to significant global recognition, confirming the country as a key contributor to multistakeholder Internet governance. It has also opened doors to strategic alliances with UN agencies, international NGOs, and technology leaders, while reinforcing domestic momentum by strengthening national commitment and encouraging increased investment in digital inclusion initiatives.
Liberia IGF will actively share real-time updates, host networking events, and broadcast takeaways from the IGF Village. Follow @LiberiaIGF for insights from our booth and to see how Liberia is shaping the future of the Internet—both at home and on the global stage.
